Transforming a Mission-Critical Global Tool into a Modern UX Experience Exxon’s global teams were burdened by an outdated administrative form that served vital operations. I led the UX team to reimagine the form for both online and offline usage across diverse environments — from oil rigs in Siberia to headquarters in Houston. Key Contributions: Conducted user interviews across continents to uncover unique pain points. Designed for low-connectivity environments and dual-user access (field + admin teams). Replaced a tedious legacy system with an intuitive, editable, collaborative experience. Delivered a highly usable, streamlined global form integrated with internal systems.

PROCESS
The sessions with stakeholders were a powerful tool for both the client and my team.  Each exxon group brought their own sense of ownership and passions as we uncovered who and how the form would ultimately be used.  The sessions served a dual purpose as I was careful to make sure that the final solution was truly a representation of what we heard from each unique point of view.
The solution was a modern, scalable interface built on top of an extremely secure file-sharing system.  The glossy, simplified user experience that was a strong representation of what the stakeholders had told us they dreamed of.
